how can i set volume keys so that they work on my iMac?

none of the f10,f11,f12 work to change volume. I've tried various YouTube fixes. None worked.

iMac 24″, macOS 15.5

Instead the keys move away and bring back any open windows. I remember that there is some setting in the Keyboard for getting these two function keys to control sound levels rather than windows. Is there a keyboard shortcut for volume on macbook pro? On my PC I can control the volume but using three fingers on the trackpad. But on my Macbook I have to press the < button on the touchbar which makes it inconvenient. Is there an easier way to adjust the volume button?

Hi,

Try to unpairing and re-pairing your keyboard which could solve your issue if you haven't tried it yet.
