On my PC I can control the volume but using three fingers on the trackpad. But on my Macbook I have to press the < button on the touchbar which makes it inconvenient. Is there an easier way to adjust the volume button?

F11 and F12 setting My F11 and F12 keys are not controlling the sound levels on my Mac Mini. I want these keys to lower and raise the volume of the sound, respectively. Instead the keys move away and bring back any open windows. I remember that there is some setting in the Keyboard for getting these two function keys to control sound levels rather than windows. Keyboard clicks volume off - How? This question has been asked before, but no one had a good answer. Hopefully someone does by now. How do we turn off the keyboard clicks? And yes, it is part of the system setup. My son set up my new MacBook Pro, while I was driving home from the shop. And, as he went through the set up there was an option for keyboard clicks volume. I had no idea, so he set it to medium. I think it was in the initial accessibility setup, where one sets vision, hearing, and zoom and something else. But I can't find it in any settings, now that it is set up. I don't like loud. I usually work on my MacBook at night and like the quiet, when I'm working. I've tried changing the alert volume, turning off user interface sounds, muting and dropping output volume. Nothing works. I type loud enough as it is, having learned on old manual upright typewriters, but this is louder than that. I don't want to have to reset my MacBook. I have had too many issues with having to do that on my old one (that didn't have loud keyboard clicks).

volume keys do not work logitech mx keys Hi all. Ventura 13.3.1(a) on Macbook Pro M2. The Key MX keyboard works great, but volume keys do not do anything. Is this expected (I doubt it)? Thanks!

I'm not sitting at my 2016 MBP, but I think there's a function key, or keys, that does that. They have little speaker volume icons on them: one for increase; one for decrease
