HomePod 1st Gen Volume changes randomly

I have several 1st gen HomePods.. they have been working wonderfully around my house for ages. All synced and streaming music without issues. Now since I’ve updated to 18.5 the volume will randomly rise on its own. Yes, sound check is enabled. This can happen if it’s Apple Music or Spotify. Is there other having these issue out there? Do we have a fix in the works or a work around? Would really love to get this resolved as have the volume change while relaxing is a jarring experience. 🖖🏽
