Unable to log in to Federal website with Safari Version 17.6

Using Safari Version 17.6 on MacBook Pro Retina 13 Early 2015 ~ macOS Monterey Version 12.7.6

No longer able to log in to EFTPS to make federal payroll tax deposits with my current Safari version

Website shows I must update current web browser or change to a different browser

Suggestions?

Unable to log in to my IRS account using Safari I was unable to log in to my Internal Revenue Service account today using the Safari browser. I haven’t had a problem doing that in the past. On the irs.gov website, there is a choice, “Sign in to Your Account”. When you click on that, you get a page titled “Your Online Account”. There is a choice “Sign in to your Online Account”. When you click on that, you are taken to sa.wwwr.irs.gov. The page is titled “Sign In”. There is no place on this page to move forward to the ID.me sign in or the IRS username entry. If you move a finger from left to right on the mouse, the correct page is briefly shown and then the window returns to the irs.gov website where you started. I tried my iPhone and got similar results. Then I tried a different browser and was able to log into my account just like I typically do with Safari. I tried to contact the IRS to report a technical problem but had no success.

Citi Bank Website is no longer supports Safari Went to citibank MasterCard website to pay my Jan 2023 bill, and upon completion of my business on the site I logged out and received the following message: "Your browser is out of date and not supported. We recommend you update your browser for a better online banking experience.Learn More" The LEARN MORE link went nowhere except back to the sign on page then to the main page. I am using a MAC mini 2012 with the latest software for safari 15.6.1 for macOS Catalina which can no longer be updated. Has anyone learn what going on with Citi Bank non-support?

Compatibility of Safari with Santander Internet Banking There appears to be a compatibility issue with Safari Version 17.0 (19616.1.27.211.1)( part of MacOs Sonoma update) and Santander Online Banking. It is unrelated to stored cookies or history. I verified the functionality by accessing Santander Online banking with Google Chrome version 117.0.5938.149 (Official Build) (x86_64)

You can download and use the current version of Chrome from https://www.google.com/chrome/
