Citi Bank Website is no longer supports Safari

Went to citibank MasterCard website to pay my Jan 2023 bill, and upon completion of my business on the site I logged out and received the following message:

"Your browser is out of date and not supported. We recommend you update your browser for a better online banking experience.Learn More" The LEARN MORE link went nowhere except back to the sign on page then to the main page. I am using a MAC mini 2012 with the latest software for safari 15.6.1 for macOS Catalina which can no longer be updated. Has anyone learn what going on with Citi Bank non-support?

Mac mini 2018 or later

Hello,

CitiBank's website has been giving me headache for at least 6 months:

  • I am not being logged out like in your case or if I am I do not get a message about updating my browser but...
  • CitiBank's website uses a LOT of resources, the fans of my iMac are screaming and the screen freezes. I have to refresh 2 or 3 times the page in order, for example, to use the button "Payment". This is SO frustrating!
  • I deal with several other bank websites and ONLY have problem with CitiBank so I doubt the problem is on Apple's side.

I understand this does not help you but I hope that somebody from CitiBank's IT team ends up reading this. Actually, I will contact them directly. Just know you are not alone having trouble with CitiBank's website.

Regards,
