I can’t get my child’s apple pay working through family sharing
I tried setting up Apple Cash on my 11 year old daughter’s phone through family sharing. It won’t let me as it says “already has Apple Cash enabled”
I was on the phone for 4 1/2 hours bouncing back between Apple tech support and Apple Cash green dot or something. My issue has NOT been resolved. They finally told me to make a new Apple ID account for my daughter, but when I tried — it wouldn’t let me put the correct birthday in. It would ALWAYS change to the next year. I even screen shared with an Apple tech and she saw it as well.
What a joke. The kicker is my other child on family sharing can use my Apple Cash, no questions asked. They want my 11 year old to put her SS#, address and birthdate when she isn’t even old enough to have this verified. Apple Cash can’t even find her account, but they told me to try and send her money, although she can’t receive it.. but they can see the money but not her account? Does this make sense to anyone or does anyone have suggestions!?
