How to identify specs for refurbished Mac Pros in the website?

Anyone else notice the way the Refurbished Mac Pro's are listed on the website? Some of them have been denoted with "(USB-C)" BUT they show no specs at all! How do they expect to sell them? Remember when Apple ran a tight ship?

If you click on the Mac Pro in question, and go down to the “Tech Specs” section, you’ll find all the specifics.

While we can’t contest what you viewed …

… this particular MBP’s details are representative of what I can see right now on ALL of the refurbished products; which closely mimics what’s displayed on “factory fresh” models.

The "(USB-C)" is odd, unless, perhaps, it refers to the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and charge cable.

All of the Intel-based Mac Pros from 2019, and all of the M2 Ultra Mac Pros, have USB-C (Thunderbolt) ports – but there are no Mac Pro model names with (USB-C) in the name in MacTracker or on the Apple documentation site.

MacTracker shows the USB-C versions of the Magic Keyboards and Magic Mice as having been released in October 2024. The M2 Ultra Mac Pro came out in June 2022. The logical conclusion is that Apple originally shipped the M2 Mac Pro with Magic Keyboards and Magic Mice that recharged via Lightning.

That "Please wait" link starts off with text that looks like it is for the Apple site, but brings up a login screen for a third-party digital wallet site. Even if I strip off everything starting with the "?", it brings up that login screen.

Part of the URL is "us_epp_85199" – is this by chance, a Mac in one of the special Apple Stores only available to Education, Government, Military/Veteran, or Employee customers, or something like that?

I see what's happening now.

The USB-C ones, are missing the "Overview" section that in other entries holds the RAM and Storage specs.

It's probably a glitch with those specific models for some reason.

While I can't tell you why it's happening, I'm pretty sure it's not intended by Apple to hide the specs.

What I can gather, is that for some when there's a USB-C model with our those specs, this is a regular model with those specs at the same price, so one can assume the specs would be the same.

Unfortunately in the case of the $8,499, one you link to, there is no other model, but since price goes up, one can assume it has at least 2TB of storage and 192GB of RAM as the previous ones that are $350 cheaper.

With that said, it's definitely something they need to correct.
