Unauthorized $30 charges by a deleted app on Apple Account

A few weeks ago I subscribed to an application, used it for one day and then deleted it immediately. However, on June 18th, this application charged me $30, which is a very large amount and I did not give consent for this. Moreover, it charged me at a time when I didn't have this application downloaded at all, meaning I had already deleted it. Please help me and since I haven't used this application, could you possibly return this money to me. Thank you!!

You gave consent when you double clicked the side button with the amount showing on the screen along with when it will be automatically renewed and the amount. There is a message on that same screen that says to cancel the subscription at least a day before renewal to avoid charges.

To cancel a subscription, follow the steps here. It makes no difference if you remove an app or not, Apple is not monitoring your device to make sure you have apps installed for any subscription or even able to check if you are using the app. I don't think you would want them doing that anyway or be able to view what you are doing.

Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription if there is one. That would be like trying to cancel a newspaper subscription simply by leaving it on your doorstep. You must cancel the subscription:

Click on this link to learn "How to cancel a subscription from Apple." --> If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support - "If you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends." At this stage the renewal is considered a purchase. For a new subscription the sale is probably effective from when you first agree to subscribe.

If you use Family Sharing and you are the organizer, make sure this is not something purchased by another family member. Subscriptions and purchases made by family members under Family Sharing (if applicable) will not show in your list or purchase history. The email receipt you receive from Apple will show the Apple ID of the purchaser but not what was purchased.

If neither you nor a family member (if applicable) has a record of this purchase and you only saw it on a statement for a card you alone control, contact your bank or card company about card fraud. Apple does not handle that.

If you do recognize it and have canceled the subscription and wish a refund: Apple's terms of purchase in the USA are, "All Transactions are final" (Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple ), but some countries have different laws so check terms for your country at: Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple If sales are final then it is Apple's decision if they want to grant a refund. You can always ask, and people do get refunds on a case by case basis, but Apple can also say no. To request a refund:
