I recently bought a refurbished Apple Watch Ultra, and i noticed that whenever i dive with it or simply get it under the water, its altimeter gives very strange values( also negative values) and it takes quite some time to get it back to normality. Is this normal or not? Thanks.

If you are not swimming or diving, the altimeter should work right away after using the water lock.
Is the watch covered by a warranty given by Apple or the company that sold the watch?
The official Apple Support can diagnose the watch online. But if it was me, I would try to return the watch and get it replaced.
If you remove the water by using the Water Lock feature, the reading should get back to normal.
Has the refurbished Watch been sold by Apple?
thanks for the reply. If i remove the water it gets better but still needs quite some time to recalibrate( like one hour). The watch wasn’t sold by apple but it is still a certified company.
