Is your Home Wifi set as a Hidden network. That would be a setting on your router for that network. When resetting Network Setting, the name of the network and password will be cleared, so it would need to be entered manually again. Any other device that previously accessed a Hidden Network will still "see" it.

We understand that your iPhone cannot "see" your home Wi-Fi network.

Can the phone "see" any other Wi-Fi networks at the coffee shop, restaurant, friend's house, etc?

If the phone cannot see any other Wi-Fi networks at all.......Tap Settings, then Tap Wi-Fi.

Is the setting for Wi-Fi "grayed out", so you cannot move the slide switch at all ?
