Unable to enable RCS messaging on iPhone 16

I bought an iPhone 16 after having Samsung s21. On the Samsung RCS messaging was working perfectly. However on iPhone I don't even have the option to enable. Iphone report on ims status voice and sms.

What is this artificial limitation?

I'm thinking to switch back to Samsung, really don't want to use sms instead...

Mobile brand/model selection is an individual choice based on many parameters. Such as Money, Feature, Status, Aesthetic, Utility, User-Friendliness, Availability, Warranty Coverage, Service Support, Resale value, Technology and many other factors. Choose yours judiciously!

Turn RCS business messaging on or off · In the Settings app, tap Apps. · Tap Messages. · Tap RCS Messaging. · Turn RCS Business Messages off.

About RCS messaging

RCS messaging is a network-provided service. When you aren't using iMessage, you can send RCS messages over Wi-Fi or mobile data networks.

RCS text messages can be sent to non-Apple devices as well as another iPhone or other Apple devices with Text Message Forwarding turned on. With RCS, you can send texts, high-resolution photos and videos, links, and more. RCS also supports delivery receipts, read receipts and typing indicators. Like MMS or SMS messages, RCS messages appear in green text bubbles on your device.
