No share button for iphone 12 memories videos (made by iPhone)

I like to download (via airdrop) Memories videos that iPhone create using my photos to my Macbook Air. I just send one Memories video to my Macbook via Airdrop. Now I am trying to send another Memories video via airdrop. And I cannot find any share button.

I can share any photos or video on my Photos on iPhone. But the share button is nowhere to be seen for my memories videos. I can share the photos that are used for the video by choosing photos, select, select all, then the share button appears.

Check the airdrop settings both on iPhone and Macbook, shut down, and turn on. The same condition.

iPhone 12 IOS 18.5

MacBook Air Sequoia 15.5

Thank you!

If you have an Music subsciption, apple will also select songs from Music for the Memory, but the Music songs are protected, so you cannot share the memory video with Music as a background music. Have you tried to switch the music to one of the Theme songs?

Change the music

You can change a memory’s music by choosing from memory soundtracks or suggested songs in Apple Music. Apple Music subscribers can also access their Apple Music library and view suggested songs based on musical preferences or the content of the memory.

  1. Go to the Photos app  on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down to Memories, then tap a memory to play it.
  3. Tap the screen, then tap .
  4. Tap , tap a song, then tap Done.
  5. Apple Music subscribers can tap  to search for songs in the Apple Music library.

On step 4 select a theme song, not a song from your Music Library
