Safari not loading some images from a specific web page

I have an issue with some images not loading for a webpage that I am developing.

All the users that reported the issue have this version: macOS 15.5 (24F74) → Safari Version 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8), additionally I also noticed the issue on my machine after I updated my macOS to this version.

The issue does not happen for all images on the same page, and it gets fixed after clearing the cache, but then after a while it comes back again on random images and random locations on the page.

When inspecting the images, I can see that the src property is set correctly, and when I open the image url in a new tab, it basically loads correctly.

As I mentioned, we already identified that this is a caching issue, and it gets resolved by clearing the cache. But this intermittent problem is only happening in Safari and none of the other browsers, and also when inspecting the broken image HTML and links, they are correct and identical to the working images on the same page, so I am thinking it could be some bug in Safari or a new feature that leads to this issue, as old Safari browsers don't have this issue.
