How to access iCloud backup without old iPhone passcode?

I forgot my iphone passcode and couldn't access my phone and choose to reset with the option of reseting everything with icloud.


The dumb problem im stuck on is that i can't even access icloud without my old passcode...


Is there a way around this?

If you forgot your iPhone passcode and erased the device using iCloud, you're now stuck because Apple requires the original passcode or Apple ID credentials to reactivate the device. This is due to Activation Lock and other built-in security features designed to prevent unauthorized access.

There’s no way to bypass this—Apple will not let you access iCloud or set up the phone without verifying your identity. You can try to remember the passcode, use Apple’s account recovery at iforgot.apple.com, or contact Apple Support with proof of purchase at getsupport.apple.com. If you can provide documentation showing your name and the device's serial number or IMEI, Apple may help unlock it. Avoid any third-party services claiming to bypass this—they are scams.
