How to make my Carshare app work without redirecting to Safari every time on my iPhone 14?

When I click on my carshare app (communauto) it automatically opens an url instead of staying in the app. I have cleared the cache and deleted the app, restarted my iPhone 14 and reinstalled the app but it still automatically redirects me to Safari. I am unable to start or end a trip.

Can I open apps directly from a link, rather than it opening in Safari on my iPhone 14? when i open a link for an app that i have downloaded, instead of opening it directly in the app it opens it on safari. this happens with open.spotify links, or instagram links for example. i am on iPhone 14, iOS version 17.4.1, and this issue happened before the last update too. i tried changing my default navigator to another one, but the issue still persisted.
