Sync Library switch stay on when trying to download the Music app

How come my switch for sync library won’t stay on I’m trying to download the music app again

Cannot turn on apple music sync library on brand new iphone and macbook air I go into settings on my iphone 16 pro max to enable sync library and it highlights for a few seconds before popping up a message saying "Enable sync library to listen everywhere. To use your apple music subcription on this device enable sync library" then the sync library button is automatically deselected. I've tried restarting my iphone, deleting and re-installing the apple music app and signing out and back into to my apple ID and apple store accounts, also my iphone is updated to the latest IOS 18 but still this error keeps occurring. It is also occurring on my brand new macbook air. This is really annoying as I was able to sync offline music to my icloud apple music in the past that was stored on my old mac.

Sync Library is greyed out in Music app and nonexisistent in iPhone settings The Apple help article is useless because Sync Library is greyed out in the Music app on Mac and does not exist in Music settings on iPhone. 2/3 of my music is gone from my iPhone but still on Mac. Apple has no support documentation addressing this.

Apple Music stuck synching with library i accidentally deleted my apple music app and have re-downloaded it. all it’s doing is showing that it’s connecting to my sync library for a long time. how do i get my stuff back or make it work? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
