Possible to change highlighting/commenting/Author Color in Pages to a *custom* color?

I use Pages to write long documents, and make many "comments" as I go. I would like to be able to change the "comment" color to something that is paler, so it is less distracting as I revise the document. I know that I can change the comment color by changing the Author Color, but the color scheme is extremely limited--and all the colors are quite dark. Is there any way to add a custom Author Color, or to affect the overall color scheme that is reflected in the Author Colors to a paler one?

(I also know that I can just hide all of the comments. But I don't want to do this, for fear that I will delete a comment I didn't mean to while editing.

Thank you.
