Unable to unzip a file after downloading from Microsoft OneDrive to my iMac

I recently downloaded all my files from MS OneDrive to my 2015 iMac. This took several hours, but resulted in zipped file that was 13GB in size, not unexpected. I tried to unzip this from the folder I created and while it went through the motions and took some time, it did not load the actual files anywhere. I did not receive any messages that there was a problem with the download, but does this definitely mean the download is corrupted?

If OneDrive has encrypted the Zip file on the Microsoft side, then you would need to get the Zip file onto the Mac via the current Microsoft OneDrive application which strips that encryption on the Mac side and allows you to then double-click the file in the Finder to unzip it normally.
