How can I fix noisy old recordings in Logic Pro without original tracks?

I recorded it 20 years ago. The original tracks are gone forever. Now I've just got noisy old mp3's and WAV Files. They've got lots of hiss and sound horrible.

I've tried asking online. But as everyone knows, AI doesn't understand the nuances of human speech, so it's useless. Online Databases are horrible. Unless you know the EXACT WORDS the algorithm randomly assigned, the computer is incapable of understanding.

I've tried Denoiser and Noise Gate. Fiddled with the EQ. Blunt and non-specific

No one online is even talking about this. Meanwhile there's 60-70 years of old analogue rock band recordings that sound horrible. It's a giant potential market for a service no one is offering, or even talking about.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

Hey.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have a limited version of iZotope in Logic Pro, but not the one I need (naturally). I'm looking into Supertone Clear. Seems like buying plug-ins is the way to go (**** it).

Maybe it's down to AI. It worked for McCartney with his most recent Faux Beatle song. Helps to have access to the Peter Jackson Super-computer. Or whatever it's called. Oh well.

Anyway thanks again. Much appreciated.

Hey. Thanks a million thanks for the suggestion. "Audio Restoration" opened the door. As with most online documentation, unless you know what words the programers assigned something, you're out of luck.

There are some things out there. Unfortunately no one has completely embraced the subject of salvaging analogue recordings. Which is a shame. There's so much of it out there. In the right hands, someone could make a business out of it.

Imagine your grandfather passed away and all you have is 1 noisy old cassette of him playing blues guitar with a band in the 1970's. People spend $7.50-$35 to convert 1 VCR tape to digital. Wouldn't you pay a little money to get a cleaner version?

Anyway, your suggestion was great. Thanks again.
