Why is my iPhone 15 battery draining fast with minimal use?

My iPhone 15 is 18mths old. Use it infrequently. Battery will go flat in 12 hours or less E.g. Battery will be fully charged 9am and flat by 7pm with little use during the day. I have done everything internet advice says Eg phone updated, turn off notifications through to full reset. Has made no difference. Have been to a dealer who says it cannot be the battery. So why is this occurring to an 18 month old phone?

Have you tried a forced restart?

Press and quickly release the volume up button.

Press and quickly release the volume down button.

Press and hold the side button.

When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

I mentioned in my post I have done everything that information from the internet has to offer, from switching off notifications through to a full reset, and, as I said, it has made no difference.
