How do I fix 'Stuck on Preparing' during data transfer from Android to iPhone?

Im moving drom an iphone from android. I tried transferring the data using “move to IOS.” at first, it worked. it was loading the data. though, it took awhile and i accidentally fell asleep. and then when i woke up. turns out it failed (?). and i basically gave my dad the phone and now the iphone is stuck, with a text that said “preparing..” meanwhile my android is still on the page that said “enter one time code!”

im guessing the iphone got stuck generating a new code? or is it unfixable n should i kiss my new phone goodbye lol
