iPhone not receiving SMS and short codes

Before anyone responds, I’ve seen all the replies on previous similar posts and literally nothing has worked. I’ve contacted my carrier and spoken with multiple people who have done or suggested the following: refreshed my network on the tools, deleted and reinstalled my eSIM, reset my network settings, turned airplane mode on and off, turned device on and off, disabled and re-enabled “turn on this line”, ran diagnostics, ran troubleshooting, toggled on and off “RCS messaging” (which by the way says that it’s waiting for activation), toggled on and off send as text message, confirmed that my phone number is being used for “send & receive”, and checked blocked contacts and spam. After all this, they say that the issue is with Apple, as they do not see anything wrong with the network on their end. Apple, however is saying that it’s a carrier issue. I have Xfinity (this all started when I changed from Verizon and ported my number over) so all of the AT&T and Verizon advice does not apply, but I did use the suggestions of contacting the carrier and asking specifically for them to refresh or re-sync my network. Didn’t work.

At this point I’m extremely frustrated for obvious reasons. I got a new phone and cannot connect my banking apps or many other apps that require verification by text, but I have to send my old phone (that can currently still use said apps) back or I’ll be charged full price for the new phone! I can’t even have a text conversation with my little cousin whose father just died because I’m unable to receive SMS messages! It’s ridiculous that no one has the answer but we pay so much money for these phones!
