I checked my screentime today and i noticed some weird sites like Gameoverlayui. I looked it up and Steam popped up, but I do not have that. I do not know what it is. Also some apps say i’ve used them for hours when i haven’t. should i be worried? Is this some virus?

No, this is just the technical term for things like the steam game overlay, or the Game Center overlay
Game overlay user interface is the meaning of it. This is most of the times a little bug that you see the technical name on your screen time and not the name of the GUI (Graphical user interface) of the app itself

Thanks for the explanation! That makes sense, but the weird part is that I didn’t play any games besides the ones already listed in my Screen Time. I definitely didn’t open anything like Gameoverlayui, and I don’t even have Steam on my phone. So it’s strange that it showed up separately. Do you think it could just be a glitch or some kind of background process
Also, at certain hours for some apps my screentime is a full hour- when i didn’t even use those apps. But screentime doesn’t play in the background right? so how does that work?
