MacBook Pro transfer songs to iPhone without erasing iPhone data Trying to get individual songs (which I've owned for a long time) from my MacBook onto my iPhone but it tells me it will erase everything on my iPhone. These songs are from my previous CDs from way back when so I can't do it using purchases in iTunes Store. this is SO frustrating. Every time I click SYNC it tells me it's going to erase my entire library on the iPhone. I don't want that I just want to add some songs onto my phone. it should be way simpler than this. Help!

iTunes and my iPhone I have never had problems ripping CD's from the library to my laptop and iTunes account and having them sync automatically to my iTunes account on my iPhone. The CDs still transfer with no problem to my laptop iTunes with DVD/CD player, but they no longer sync to my iPhone iTunes account. On iTunes from my laptop it shows that the CDs are not downloaded to the cloud, unlike all of my other dozens of CDs. Sincerely, Mystified in Michigan
