I’m having trouble mirroring my iPhone to my new TCL TV, it just won’t connect, even though both the phone and the TV are on the same Wi-Fi network. I never had this issue with my old TV, so I’m not sure what’s going wrong. Any ideas?

you can only do it if the tv
Apple TV app - Devices - Apple (EG) scroll down to section "AirPlay 2-Enabled TVs"
or if the tv support miracast or chromecast and you get apps from app store that support those 2 std.
or if you get an appletv box and connect it to the tv Apple TV 4K - Apple

My TV isn’t here, I guess I wasn’t that lucky. The previous one had AirPlay, but it was a Samsung
