I am unable to proceed past the lockscreen on my iPhone due to a forgotten passcode.

This is a new iPhone. I turned it on, set a passcode, and then powered it off for a few days. When I turned it back on, it requested the passcode, which I unfortunately no longer remember.

I have tried using recovery mode, my laptop detects the iPhone, but iTunes does not recognize it because I never connected it to iTunes while it was unlocked.

Additionally, the device currently has no connection to the internet, which further limits my options.

I cannot work with these manuals:

If you forgot your iPhone passcode or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

If you see a iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support

Its a work phone and our IT-Support could not help me.

What can i do in this situation?

There seems to be a misunderstanding. The IT-Support at mywork provided so far has been helpful and has covered everything possible at this stage. However, my issue now requires assistance from Apple Support directly.

If this community is not a channel for reaching Apple Support, could you please let me know how I can contact them?

this issue has been solved. The steps for resetting worked on a 3rd laptop. How do I close this thread?
