I am unable to proceed past the lockscreen on my iPhone due to a forgotten passcode.

This is a new iPhone. I turned it on, set a passcode, and then powered it off for a few days. When I turned it back on, it requested the passcode, which I unfortunately no longer remember.


I have tried using recovery mode, my laptop detects the iPhone, but iTunes does not recognize it because I never connected it to iTunes while it was unlocked.


Additionally, the device currently has no connection to the internet, which further limits my options.

Its a work phone and our IT-Support could not help me.


What can i do in this situation?
