In FCPX, must all plugins be in the Motion Templates file?

I have downloaded two audio plugins too use with FCP that ended up in Library > Audio > Plugins, not Motion Templates. However, several sources say FCP plugins are to be found in Motion Templates.

Should I move them to Motion Templates?

Mac mini, macOS 15.4

Hi (bonjour),

That’s not the case for audio plug-in. They are usually installed in a specific audio related library as you found.
