Sound effects are missing in Logic Pro

Hi,

Some sound effects are no longer available in Logic Pro. In a project I used to work on, Thunder Clap, Forest.1 and
I used effects like Rain Heavy Thunder.
I formatted my Mac and reinstalled Logic Pro. When I looked at the project again, I realized that those effects were
not in the library. It has the Forest effect, but it's shortened. There are no others. They were perfect for my song.
I am really sad.

How can I find them again? Can you help me?

My English is not very good, I hope I expressed it correctly.

Thanks

At least some of the sound effects were licensed from third parties like Sound Ideas. I assume that Apple is no longer paying for these so at least on my system they weren't included when I updated Logic. If you still have backups of your old install you can copy the sound effects from there to your new install. It's been quite a while since I did this so I can't give you specific directions. I remember it took some trial and error and you might need to run update on the sound library. The loops end with .caf and on my computer are in Library/Audio/Apple Loops/Detroit Chop Shop and iLife Sound Effects and SoundIdeas. So you should be able to run a search on .caf and find them.
