How do I resolve the missing USB Serial Port option for a Creality Falcon2 Laser Engraver on MacBook Pro?

I have a Creality Falcon2 Laser Engraver. I initially connected with the software LightBurn. The menu provided me with an option of using USBSerial port. But today when I connected my MacBook Pro to the machine, the software didn't provide that option. I'm trying to decide if its a software problem, or hardware problem with the drivers I have in my computer.

Mass Extension, or Mass Extinction?

Also – Apple Silicon Macs cannot run Intel-only system code (e.g., Intel-only kernel extensions), and Apple has been making security changes in recent versions of macOS aimed at getting developers to abandon the use of kernel extensions in favor of system extensions that run with more limited privileges.
