Books home page “something has gone wrong. Try again” error

My books home page says ”sorry…something has gone wrong. Try again”. I have internet connection, tried on wifi, tried restarting the phone again, deleted and uploaded the app and tried updating it. Nothing works. Other than the homepage not working everything else in it works. Help how to get it working normally?

Trying to resume produces the error "No speakable content could be found on the screen." Usually I need to restart my phone for it to start working again. App icon disappeared from library. Want to download an app, but Safari cant open because address is invalid iPhone 12 pro. App Store no longer shows up. Tried to download an app; Safari cant open because "address is invalid." Phone is updated (16.7.1); and has been restarted - still not showing up
