How to stop playing unwanted songs from Apple Music playlists on iPhone?

Several months ago I created a playlist and the first few times I shuffled from it, it worked as expected. Recently, every third or so song (sometimes consecutive) it plays an absolutely horrible song that I did not add to the list, I did not download, I did not add to my library, and I do not want. How do I stop this from happening?
