The report formatting got scrambled and is a bit hard to read, but this sticks out:
Performance:
System Load: 25.84 (1 min ago) 35.59 (5 min ago) 17.78 (15 min ago)
Nominal I/O usage: 29.27 MB/s
File system: 120.00 seconds (timed out)
Write speed: 358 MB/s
Read speed: 1040 MB/s
There are two red flags. One is the Write Speed. It should be closer to the Read speed.
The other is the File system test. The lower the time in seconds, the healthier the drive. Yours struggled enough to cause EtreCheck to throw up its hands.
Normally, the Time out means the drive is toast but, with ClobberMyMac installed, poor drive performance can be caused by that unneeded app. I've seen it before: remove CMM and drive performance improves noticeably. Your Mac, cat-like, cleans itself and need no outside help to do so.
The unevenness of the Read and Write scores may be fixable. Every so often I need to "tune up" my 2012 Macbook Pro with an aftermarket SSD. Fortunately, the fix is free and easy to try:
- Remove CMM using the developers' instructions.
- Back up your drive
- Shut down the computer
- Restart in Safe Mode (Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support) by holding the SHIFT key down during a restart until you see the load progress bar.
- When you see a desktop, get up and play with the dog, get a cuppa of something, or otherwise go away. I let the computer "soak" in Safe Mode for 20-30 minutes before doing anything.
- Do a normal restart
When I do that, the Writes and Reads of my SSD return to their normally near-equal numbers.
Re-run EtreCheck and see if the drive numbers look better. When you post the next report, look at these instructions that help preserve report formatting:
