Unable to add my credit card on iPhone 16 Pro Max Apple Wallet

I have been having trouble adding my debit and credit card on my iPhone 16 pro max. I was able to add all my cards to my watch and iPad without any problems. I have contacted Apple Pay support, told me to contact my bank. I call my bank and was told that they are not denying the request to contact apple support. I have been dealing with this issue for 2 months. It has not been resolved.

When you request a card be added to your Wallet app the information you enter on your iPhone is encrypted and sent to the Payment Network Operator (Mastercard, Visa etc.). The PNO receives information about your Apple Account, iTunes account, App Store account and information about your iPhone usage history.


The PNO must approve your request or it’s returned to your iPhone with an error message to contact your bank. Did you receive an error message and what did it say, exactly?

I received an error message card could not be added. I called all my financial institutions and they said nothing is wrong with my account or any block that is preventing me from adding my card. It’s on Apple side. I was able to add the cards to my watch and iPad. And it’s not just 1 card. All visa and Mastercard branded cards are affected

Most likely, one of the accounts has a fraud alert on it. Fraud information is shared among institutions, but especially PNO’s. It’s even everyone’s best interest to share knowledge and reduce fraud.


What iPhone model and iOS version are you using? Do you use a VPN? Is it a managed device, such as an employer or school?

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max, my issue or banks that I have been trying to add is not denying the request. My token is active and if they are denying my request, then it should not approve in my watch or iPad with SHARE! the same Apple ID so what you’re saying does not make sense And I do not have any fraud alert or anything like that in my account nor are they saying that it was denied because of fraud? I think it’s an Apple issue because I’ve seen a lot of customers having the same problem.
