I cannot connect my iPhone 16e with Car Play on my 2021 Ram 1500 Classic.

Older phones connect but my new iPhone doesn’t.

I am reading lots of other forum posts for people with a similar problem.

All my settings are as they should be so this seems like a compatibility issue, which is very disappointing.

Wired or wireless? If wired, try a different cable. Not all USB-C cables/adapters are created equal. Many are charge only and do not carry data.

Wireless. I was hoping a wire connection might work, and I have tried 3 different cables - all data compatible, but no dice!
