Onedrive on Monterey suddenly keeps processing changes

I'm running Monterey on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), and have microsoft Onedrive installed to sync my million of files between devices.

Because my mac is old, i can't update it, and also i'm using Onedrive 24.226 (an outdated version that works still with Monterey)

Strangely a week a go onedrive started to count the files and keeps processing changes , that do not exist, and of course it keeps my mac using lots of ressources for nothing.

If nothing has changed, why in this world it started behaving like this?
