One used to be able to save a homepage as a pdf file on the ipad to dropbox, that included a link til the homepage, but with the new os 18.4.1 that does not work. Now you save a linkfile. filename.url
"des.genealogy.net-2639449.url"
You can open the homepage with this link on ipad and intel macs, but not M3 MacBook.
You can save a pdf, but it does not contain a link to homepage, and does not look like af pdf.
What is a URL file? I know what a URL is but I am unfamiliar with "url files".
A URL is something like https://ww.apple.com/

A homepage, as in a web page? You can use the Share icon > Print, then the Share icon again, and you can choose among several options such as Save as PDF, or Copy. I don't know what dropbox does.
