How to separate two file formats in Apple Music library
I am using Apple Music on a 2018 MacBook Pro (2.2 Ghz 6-core Intel core i7) with Sequoia 15.4.1. I have plenty of storage available.
I am attempting to copy my music library (all ripped from CDs rather than purchased via Music) to a format suitable for playing on a USB drive in my car.
I have managed to convert the library to mp3 but now I obviously have two versions of each track in my library.
I would like to separate out the mp3s to the external USB drive and then delete the mp3s from the library but I am unclear how to do this without drag-and-dropping each file. (I really don't want to do this as there are over 1500 tracks.)
Does anyone know of a quick means to achieve this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
