Is my iPhone 13 fake if the box has no IMEI sticker?

Recently I bought online a new iPhone 13 from reseller’s shop.

When I received a shipment, I saw that there is no sticker on the back of iPhone box. I’ve checked all printings, fonts and other points on the box, it seems to be original.

But no sticker makes me confused so I start to look at safety stickers which secure box of self opening.

Upper was nice and clear, but sliding a finger of lower sticker I recognised some dust or other small particles trapped under the glue.

So question; Is it happen sometimes of original products or it’s fake and reseller has to be reported?

I’ve contacted the shop seller, he try to calm me down and ensure that the phone is ok. He add that this was the model of over production and the phone destiny was to the spare phones or guys from ensuring.

I don’t know what to think about it.

As far as I recall, your iPhone's information such as the IMEI is printed onto the box. Not a sticker.

I concur with others that this iPhone is either used or counterfeit, and I wouldn't want to take any chances.

Return it for a full refund. Then purchase an iPhone at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Resellers, where you know you are getting a new iPhone.
