Followed all the suggestions on site - still will not scroll. I have a MacBook Air from 2018/2019 but was told the mouse is compatible.
Is there anything I can do?

That is correct, a 2019 MacBook Air cannot be upgraded to macOS Sequoia.

It is not. Here are the system requirements for the USB-C mouse taken directly from the online Apple Store.

Even though the mouse is sold as being compatible with software from 11.1 onwards. False advertising from Apple it would seem. I have the exact same issues with the mouse (3.1.4.).
Which exact Apple Magic Mouse do you have? The very latest one comes with a USB-C port on the bottom to charge it. Is this what you have?
Is your MacBook Air still running macOS Sonoma 14.7?
