iCal No Alerts Since Sequoia 15.1.1 Update

Is Apple ever going to repair the damage to iCal since the last update? Some of my alerts come up, most don't. Some alerts show up on my iPhone but not my iMac. It worked perfectly before the update.

As far as I can tell, all Alerts are (still) turned on.

I don't use Reminders -- don't really know what Reminders does. I have only ever used iCal Alerts for the last couple of decades..

Mine has been broken since Sequoia. completely inconsistent results, some alerts work, some don't. some repeating alerts work for a short period then stop working. I cannot change the default for "all day events" from one day before to current day. The change never sticks.

I've reported it to apple, and I'm sure many others have too. There have been a few Sequoia updates since, without any improvements to the glitchy calendar app. It's probably time to find an alternative - the good ones all look like the cost money, but at least they work
