Looking for an alternative browser other than Safari or Chrome. I understand Chrome is having major issues and Safari is my main workhorse but I want a secondary browser. Don't want to use Opera ! Can you help me please community.

I have always used Firefox as my primary browser ... many different Macs, many different versions of macOS. Never had any problems with it ... secure, continuously updated, privacy-and-security rich. There are also many useful extensions for Firefox ... I use EFF Privacy Badger & uBLock origin for additional privacy and to block popups and scams.

I don’t know which is the best, but some of the main alternatives are Firefox, Brave, and Microsoft Edge. The current version of Firefox requires Catalina or higher; the current versions of the other two require Big Sur or higher.
Try using Firefox or iCab. While the people on these boards can suggest browsers, the best one for them may not be the best one for you.

FWIW, I use Firefox as my default and have for years. Mainly because of extensions that are available for it I find useful. I'm not aware of any "major issues" Chrome is having, although it is not my first choice.
