I recently read about BRAVE and OPERA?
What advantages do they have over Firefox Safari or Chrome?

I say if you decide a chromium browser from Google use Brave because it Block all Google spyware in Browser unless you require tracking! IMFO it is best browser especially when surfing!

There is no "best browser"
It is a personal preference....try and see what you like best that is it.
Do some search if you need stats:
I use Firefox as my main working browser (for over a decade) and leave Safari set to the default as my secondary browser.
Always advised to have at least 2 browsers on your Mac, since this is how we conveniently reach out to the WWW.
"Best" depends on usage and requirements. It's a personal view.
Brave is a pretty good browser.
Safari is the native one, so has a few benefits but can also have some issues.
