Why does Safari window size change on its own in Mac?

Why would the size of a Safari window change on its own? Opening two side by side, only for them to regain their full size if I move to another space?

How do I fix Safari’s window size issue on my MacBook Pro? When safari opens a new window it comes not in fullscreen, but a window that fills the screen. I have to drag it smaller each time because I still want access to desktop. I think the problem is in System Preferences: I've tried disabling the option to 'Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen', and quitting SP. When reopening, the Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen option is live again. is this a bug? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Size of Safari application seems large? Hi! I was recently making more space available on my imac HD and I noticed (via system settings>storage) that the application size of Safari is 3.6GB. It seems a little high, so I did the following: Cleared caches via the developer menu Reset cookies/removed all website data Cleared the reading list Cleaned out my bookmarks And it still remains at 3.6GB. I have no Safari extensions, so I don't know what's causing this. Is this size normal? The app seems to run ok when in use. Thanks in advance!
