How do I set Safari as default browser on macOS Sequoia?

After I have updated to the lastest Version 15.4.1. Why I click on Safari but Google search appears which previously was Safari search appeared.

Kindly let me know what’s the cause for this issue?

Thanks

There is no "Safari Search." Apple has no search engine of its own. I think what you mean is the "Start Page."

Go to Safari>Settings>General>New Windows Open With and set it to "Start Page." Do the same thing with "New Tabs Open With."
