Why is my TikTok camera black and needs rebooting on iPhone?

My tik tok camera is glitchy, it's black and needs to be rebooted to open. What's the reason for this?

How can I fix black camera issue on my iPhone 16 Pro Max? I have 18.2 IOS. Recently when I tried to start the camera while it is locked, with the main button or side button, the camera opens with a dark screen without any images. After couple of tries, black screen opens slowly or if happens once next time, it opens as usual. Today also same issue with the light, once it is locked, it shows light is opened without any actual lights on. I called hotline and they told me to reset the phone but I do not think it is related. Ask TikTok for help with their product. Have you checked in the App Store to make sure you have the newest version?
