Unable to restore WhatsApp chats from iCloud on iPhone after iOS 18.4.1 update

After updating software 18.4.1my iPhone XS max i tried to restore the chat history on WhatsApp from the iCloud backup .The restore is getting stuck for hours and says no backup found that can’t be right because i make sure my iCloud is on and have space. There is no option restore And I don’t want to choose option skip in whatup , Anyone have any success fixing this?

please I really need my chat history back it’s really important

Simply having iCloud turned on and backing up your device is not enough for WhatsApp to back up your Chat History. WhatsApp has specific steps you must take in order for those to be backed up.
