Since I updated my iPhone 12 pro max to IOS 18.4.1, search on home screen stopped working. I can't even find a calculator. The only option is go to app store and look for the apps there. Please help, it is really difficult to use my device.

I have found the solution. Need to change the region.
Go to settings and find language & region. I switched from Russia to USA and the search start working again.
But Apple please fix the problem in the next updates. Thank you in advance!
I can’t replicate that problem; so most likely it is a problem with your iPhone. Have you left it plugged in for several hours so the search database can be updated? Have you turned off Background App Refresh? I’m not sure that is related, but if it is off turn it on.
The same issue. Never faced with this issue before. Updated my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 18.4.1 two days ago. Search on home screen can not find any apps in Russian language. Even native apps like Settings or Calculator. No problem with apps names in English or with apps where its name in Russian duplicates in a description. Or some apps in Russian can be fing only with 2 first letters. When adding the third letter of the name - nothing as a result. Hard reset not helps.
Really frustrating since the only way to find the app is to go to the App Library and find the app there.
When I change preferred language in settings from Russian to English the problem is gone. Changing it back returns the problem. Looks like something wrong in this update.
