Apple music on windows isn't playing songs that aren't in my library

I can play music saved to my library, but when I search for a song that isn't saved to my library, it just says connecting. It was working fine when I first downloaded Apple Music, but I switched the network while using it once, and it hasn't worked since. I tried switching back to the original network I was using, but it still doesn't work. I tried deleting the app and redownloading, and I also tried switching accounts, but to no avail.
