How do I fix unreadable font size in Safari 18.3 on specific websites?

Reading certain websites (for example, Barron's online), heads are properly sized but body text is rendeed so small it's unreadable. And using expanded text expands the heads, but does nothing for the body text. My only recourse is to use Reader to strip out the bad formatting and save it as a .PDF so I can read it. But that's time consuming and requires multiple steps when I'm just scanning articles. Can this be fixed? Other browser do not have this problem; it's only Safair 18.3.
